Chocolate is something Girls just need.

Liking for Chocolate and ladies; if I say two sides of the same coin, I won’t be making it large. Despite, loving this product so much, I have strong reason to believe that only a few of you ladies might have discovered that raw cacao is one of the best super food. Raw cacao, whereas can improve the cardiovascular system, blood pressure, and cholesterol, it is also the best source of magnesium. Cocoa is a plant that is native to Central America and northern South America. The name Theobroma Cacao literally means’ cocoa; food for the gods. The Aztecs cocoa namely associated with the god of fertility and rain. I would say, Goddess of fertility and rain. Right? But, then you have to eat it in the right form. Let me walk you through a few more plus points of raw cacao; the nutrition goddesses.

Raw cacao is a super food for women

With hemp seed, raw cacao is seen as one of the most nutritious foods in the world. There are more than 400 complex substances in cocoa. Therefore, none of the industry succeeded in creating an artificial variant of this product in the laboratory, Most of you might advocate of chocolates. But, I think there is no chocolate that tastes like real cocoa beans. Though chocolates are a good source of cocoa, but undeniably, many of these benefits are lost in the making of chocolate. A chocolate is heated and fats & sugars are added, therefore, chocolate is nowhere similar to real cocoa.

Cocoa is the richest source of magnesium

Cocoa is the richest known source of magnesium. The deficiency of magnesium is a common disease nowadays. There are medical researchers that claim that many women are complaining of chronically tiredness or are suffering from a high-stress level. As per the medical findings, in periods of stress you pee more magnesium (four times even) than normal. Especially if you are a big fan of dairy products, alcohol, coffee or soda. Magnesium is a mineral that is very important for all of your organs, especially your heart, nerves, kidneys, and muscles. Do you lack energy and fancy a chocolate all the time? It could be that you have a magnesium deficiency.

Magnesium is essential in your wife’s body

What could magnesium possibly do to you? It can make your blood sugar levels decrease and thereby increase the insulin sensitivity of the cells. There is also a link between type 2 diabetes and a magnesium deficiency. Magnesium is involved in building proteins and therefore it is important for your muscles. Do you often suffer from muscle cramps, then you might be having a magnesium deficiency. Magnesium can help in lowering your blood pressure and it can prevent arteriosclerosis. According to the findings, more women die from heart attack than cancer. Magnesium may help prevent (micro) infections, which occur more as you get older.

Cocoa is the richest source of antioxidants

Blueberries are known as a good source of antioxidants, but raw cacao contains 40 times more antioxidants! Antioxidants protect your body from free radicals. Free radicals are molecules in body that damage your cells. Antioxidants, thus counter the aging process and also play a role in protecting kidneys against kidney diseases.

Cocoa is good for your heart, blood pressure, and cholesterol

According to various approved studies, raw cacao can help in lowering your high blood pressure and high cholesterol (LDL cholesterol). A normal blood pressure and cholesterol mean a good protection of your heart. A small amount of raw cocoa can support your cardiovascular system.

Cocoa has an antidepressant effect

You might have noticed that having is chocolate is helpful when you are under stress of anything; chocolate is a stress buster actually. Chocolate heals the pain that sometimes we feel; the lack of attention or love. Unfortunately, this antidepressant effect is often short-lived, especially if you have too much chocolate (coated with sugars and fats!). However, raw cacao does not have the disadvantages of sugars and fats, but the benefits of the pleasant feeling. It releases endorphins in your body; that’s where you get a good feeling. It also contains tryptophan, which can be converted by the body into serotonin, the happiness hormone that acts as an antidepressant. In addition, raw cacao also contains theobromine and caffeine, two substances that stimulate our body and our brain.

Raw cacao Vs. chocolate

The big difference between raw cocoa and chocolate as we know it is that raw cacao is not heated. This allows the proper nutrients because, in the case of chocolate, these are indeed partly destroyed. In addition, the chocolate products as we know them contain a lot of fats and sugars that just have no nutritional value, but adds fat. Healthy versions of cacao are only raw cacao beans, raw cacao nibs (pieces), raw cocoa powder and raw cacao bars.

Raw cacao has become more and more for sale in supermarkets. Health food stores have it anyway and sometimes sell raw cocoa bars. However, these are expensive (I think). I use raw cocoa powder, which I drink or other yummy things taste. Last, but not the least, everybody reacts differently to any food. So listen carefully to your own body.

If you are suffering from stress and possibly even come close to adrenal exhaustion, leave coffee and raw cocoa for a while.
