Creative. One word says it all for Sunil. A engineer, an enthusiastic and conscientious Information Technology consultant by profession, Sunil shares a special interest with entrepreneurship and lifestyle.

Ever wondered, what make Big, B, Hrithik Roshan, SRK, Anand Mahindra, Chote Nawab alias Saif Ali Khan, Salman Khan and others as the trendsetter? Adding a few more names like Virat Kohli, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, though they claim themselves as non-stylish, yet we beg to disagree.

What makes them look different and what make us envy them? It is nothing to do with their celebrity status. Admit it, without any shadow of a doubt, it is their eclectic sense of style; no matter what, they never put a wrong foot out, when it is about style.

We love to copy everything they wear. Let it be Pourni Firoza style bracelet or Bajrangi Bhaijaan style hanuman pendant of Salman or Big B style Bandhgalas; we get easily fascinated by all these and why should not we, after these make us look like heroes in our own dream world.

Unbeknownst to many of us, there is a thin line between being fashionable and being stylish. Let me help you get this straight to your mind and by the end of this, you will know how to be a style bhai.

If people call you fashionable, you are a copy of someone else

If asked to sum up fashion and style in few words, I would say, “What’s out there” is fashion and “what’s in here” is style. Is this still a bouncer for you? Let me break it for you then. Those were the days when our granddads used to wear bell-bottoms and baggies.

Now, I dare you to find me branded store selling bell-bottom pants with possible available variations. You won’t find one because it is not out there i.e. not in trend fella; fashion has changed. It is a time for narrow bottoms and skin tights.

Fashion is more likely shouting about your relationship with the external world; you are trying to be one alike other. Fashion actually distracts. We are dying to look like someone else.

If people calling you stylish, you are on the right track

Now, let us talk about Style. It is all about, “what’s in here.” The style is about every single attempt of yours about telling others what you are, what your identity is and what your perception about you is? Are you going for a fancy dress competition without wearing something fancy that is not in fashion?

Now is this what, we call style. Wear something that makes you look distinctive. Eyes get attracted to something unusual. Trying experimenting with your hairstyle, turban-style.

Do a little favour on your moustaches and beard. French-cut is Big-B’s copyright in B-Town and handle-bar moustache is probably Ranveer Singh’s patent.

Hope, now you know! Try to use best characteristics of yours and set a style for others. Undeniably, it is very hard, it asks for consistent experiments.

Otherwise, adopt the trend and erupt your self-confidence; when in Rome, do as the Romans do.
