Many of us believe that if they do not drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes, then their lifestyle is good and healthy. Well, if you think the same way, you are living in a bubble and it is just like keeping yourself confused. Today, I would like to tell you about those health mistakes which are more dangerous and harmful than the habits given above.
A sedentary lifestyle is another bad habit. Whether we are at school, at home or in the office, we happen to be down every day more than we should. Recent studies have shown that sedentary increases the predisposition to fattening, increases the risk of heart attack, and is responsible for certain types of cancer.
We now love to spend our free time in front of the TV or being a couch potato. Thus, it has been found that sedentary people, who have long sitting hours are more at risk of suffering from the colon, endometrial and lung cancer.

2Higher intake of meat or/and cheese
A study recently found that people with a diet rich in medium-age protein have four times more chance of dying of cancer than those with a low-protein diet.
Generally, middle-aged adults should eat 0.8 grams of protein daily for every 2 kilograms of body weight. The study found that, once the age of 65 is over, high animal protein consumption remains no longer damaging because the hormone production begins to slow down.
3Cooking in the wrong conditions
Many of us cook their food in an unsuitable cooking environment and because of that, they are having a supplemental dose of carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, and formaldehyde. You will be surprised to know that these three compounds are also present in smoking. The best thing is using a hood when cooking because ventilation reduces the pollution level from 60 to 90%.
4Cooking with the wrong cooking oil
You might be cooking your food in the wrong cooking oil. I have seen many people cooking with soybean oil. What they don’t know is that soybean oil release aldehydes and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.
To protect yourself from this health hazard, you must choose the type of oil correctly. For example, olive oil is not good for roasting or for cooking, but it is good for salads. Avocado oil is great for hot cooking.
5Improper or incomplete sleep
Chronic sleep deprivation triggers hypertension, heart attacks, strokes, obesity and a host of other health problems. A recent study found that if you do not sleep for at least 6 or 7 hours, your mortality rate becomes equal to that of smokers.
Even sleep of poor quality or interrupted may accelerate the growth of tumors. If you feel that you do not sleep enough regularly, talk to a specialist to see if you suffer from a condition such as sleep apnea.
6Loneliness or preference for isolation
According to specialists, this kind of lifestyle is now a real global “epidemic”. According to a study, it is believed that loneliness reduces the lifespan to the same degree that smoking 15 cigarettes a day does. Socialization up to a limit is always good.
In case, you are not comfortable in mixing with complete strangers or neighbors, you can always enjoy with your own people. You must not lock yourself behind the door.
We must follow a cautious approach in order to provide the body with everything it needs to function in an accurate manner. Be it any case, we must not let anything ruin our health and we must not make mistakes that affect our health in the long run.
