Running not only burns the most calories but it is also the best cardio-workout ever. It not only tones and strengthens your leg muscles but it is a workout for your whole body. A note of caution though – If you have never ran, please start with the pace that is the most comfortable for you and gradually build your stamina for running.

This may not be a very common name of exercise but trust us when we say that it is a very effective form. For each burpee, you have the potential to burn at least 1.5 calories. If you are able to do about 10 burpees in a minute, you can burn approximately 14 calories. That’s a lot of calories in just a minute. But burpees is not easy like running.
Burpees is known to improve your metabolism along with giving you a full body strength just like running. Give burpees a try for a really calorie-burning and an awesome workout that make you weak in the legs after doing it.

Skipping or Jumping Rope
Skipping has the potential to burn at least 12 calories per minute if you are able to do about a 100 skips. It requires you to have extra hand and foot skills and coordination. Skipping rope will use more of your muscles groups than does jogging.
Skipping is good for your heart as it is a cardio work out. It helps strengthens both your upper and lower body. It is also known to improve and increase your bone density as when you jump, the impact of the jump is taken by both your legs.

Believe it or not but dancing is considered as a form of exercise. And more recently, dance forms like Zumba have a lot of takers. It is not only the most fun way to burn that fat, but also it burns more calories than you thought. It can burn anywhere between 400 and 700 calories in an hour, of course, depending upon your strength.
