Sometimes we are really contented, and sometimes we pretend. But the fact is, usually we don’t like the things we get.
Try to get what you like, or you will be forced to like what you get, they say. Every time I feel low, I ask myself, why do we get the things we don’t like? Despite knowing the answer, I keep looking here and there. I used to put blame on my luck, my situations, my surroundings, and people around me until I discovered the real cause; I was planting wrong trees in the courtyard of my body better known as the brain.
Instead of putting my dreams into action, I was protecting them behind my eyelids. There was an undisclosed fear restricting me from disclosing those dreams to the world. I was not confident enough. Whenever I shared my dreams with someone, they demotivated me by saying that,”my dreams are way above my status and they are unrealistic as well as unachievable”.

At one side, the fear of damaging my own dreams was not letting me do anything about those. And, on the other side, seeing myself reaching nowhere closer to my dreams was not letting me sleep, either. Then, came the moment of change. A secret changed my life.
I was protecting my dreams because I was nurtured that way. I was told by my parents, teachers, and competitors to play smart and defensive. For all these years, I was planting the wrong seeds. Instead of working for the things I should be, I was struggling hard for reserving a place in the safe zone. No one including me, showed any faith in my capabilities. And, I kept telling me that if my elders are telling me that I am not going to make it, they are right.
So, when I did not planted any of my dream’s tree, then how am I supposed to enjoy the fruit of the same?
The secret that I learned after spending so many years, you need to plant the right tree in the courtyard of your body, known as the brain.
To make anything happen in reality, you need to convenience your mind first. Once your mind is clear about your dreams, it is going to process that information accordingly. Then, your mind will push you to take all the steps required.
For example – if you want to have an apple tree; you first need to tell your mind that you need to sow the right seeds. Then, you need to water it, fertilize it, and protect it from the potential threats like insects, animals, or mistletoe. After several years of hard work, finally, you will be able to have sweet apples.
Therefore, if you think that you are not getting things that you want, then you are possibly not sowing the right seeds.
