HIGHLIGHTS

  1. Attack on Indian army in Uri.
  2. We lost 18 soldiers.
  3. Indians surgical strike.
  4. Same reaction from Pakistan - not us.

Once again the cowards attacked. This time, they did in the dark because they don’t have guts to face the lions.

In a pre-dawn ambush, they lobbed 17 grenades in 3 minutes. We lost 18 sons of the soil. I am sorry to say, but I am not able to understand, for what we are waiting now? Why not a surgical strike against this ‘good-for-nothing’ neighbor? The world knows, who is behind this, but mute.

The silence of the world is not that bothers, but the failure of the India’s national security agencies our intelligence agencies because of which incidents like this occurs disturbs the most. If these agencies are not capable of halting attacks on the army base camps, then how can they assure civilians’ security?

The enemy is hitting us again and again and we are talking about economic growth, GDP, free data, relationships, compromises, and development plans. Uri attack is reported as “the deadliest attack on security forces in Kashmir in two decades.” And, we still hope to sort these issues around the tables while having chips and juices? Debates are not going to bring these things to an end, but hard actions will. Sorry to say, but by feeding our enemy with love is more likely nourishing a potential killer.

It is definitely not an easy thing to be a soldier; emotionally and physically. You need to give up everything you have, be it your house, your village, your fields, your friends, your family and your newborn kids. No vacation and no excuses especially when you are posted in war-prone areas. For these soldiers out there, their new family is – their regiments with whom they share their happy and sad moments. Trust me, guys, sitting in AC rooms and talking about economic growth is easy shit, but ask these soldiers, how life is out there. It becomes even hard when you have to say goodbye to someone with whom you had shared a good time.

Can you imagine the pain and love of a daughter? Right after a day their dad died in Uri, these girls were writing their exams. They didn’t want to hurt his memory.

What can be more painful for a father than standing next to his own son’s bier? The heaviest burden on this earth is – son’s bier on father’s shoulder. My heart goes out for this father and all I would like to say is – “Thank you, sir.”

Just to give you an idea of how dreadful it was, here is the picture. Use your imaginations and feel the struggle.

There were questions from B-Town as well. Here is what Paresh Rawal asked –

Here is what “Punjab da Puttar” (Son of the soil) Bobby Deol said on Uri Attacks

Gautam Ghambir, famous Indian Cricketer made his tweet a little poetic… Here is what he said –

And, what a wonderful statement made by Virendra Sehwag.

Don’t you people think that who so ever is behind this, has taken India for granted. They know, we are not going to do anything, but just condemn and complain to UN. Remind me on an old TIMESNOW tweet….

These may be a few emotional statements or status updates. But, we (Indians) have taken it very seriously. And, we brought you in the power with a hope; with a hope of an action.

Why many political lobbies are still silent and what is stopping them from thrashing out this regular trespassers? People of India are asking questions and here are a few of them.

In hope of your comments.
