1Find A Niche

If you seriously want to be a public speaker, my first suggestion to you is, find a niche that you best understand, depending on your specialization. You can speak for hours on a topic that you understand completely.

Do not think about how speakers of other niches are doing. You don’t want to look like an answer-less person standing in front of a mic on the stage. Do you?

2Be An Expert

By being an expert, it is not only about the stage. You are not supposed to focus on public speaking. The idea is of engaging yourself in other activities like writing some books, going to seminars, making some video tutorial and sharing your knowledge about it.

The more you do these, the more you become an expert in your field. By doing this, you be will be able to overcome the fear of public speaking. Do keep in mind that you cannot always trick the audience. So, your expertise must be real and credible.

3Never Stop Learning

Be it any profession, the moment you stop updating yourself, people will forget you. If after a seminar, no one approaches you for a business card, it means your speech was not the best.

At that stage, modifying your speech from presentation to presentation becomes very important. For that purpose, never stop learning and updating yourself. Keep introducing new stuff to your presentations and lectures.
